Abstract
The Act of December 16, 2016, on the principles of state property management, which entered into force on January 1, 2017, set out the requirements for candidates for members of supervisory or management bodies of companies with State Treasury shareholding. One of the requirements for applying for candidacy is completion of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Apart from the name itself, the legislator did not decide to specify any particular requirements for such postgraduate studies. In academic practice, these studies are conducted on the basis of general principles set out in the Act of July 20, 2018, on Higher Education and Science. The purpose of this article is to analyze selected regulations in order to determine the legal conditions applicable to the implementation of Master of Business Administration (hereinafter also referred to as MBA) postgraduate studies, as well as to propose de lege ferenda proposals in this regard.
